About Michael

Michael Ohr is an entrepreneur at heart. He co-founded ZebraMobil, the first carsharing provider to offer spontaneous rides on free-floating cars without the need for prior reservations or fixed parking spots.

Michael combines visionary strategic thinking, hands-on entrepreneurial insights and a deep understanding of software and technology with more than two decades of consulting experience, including advising private equity investors in due diligence and technology evaluation projects. In addition, he advises early-stage start-ups and their founders. He is also active as a business angel and has invested in early-stage startups including Moonfare and Hellotickets.

His previous employers include Bain & Company, the BMW Group and Trilogy Software. He holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD and an MSc (Diplom) in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Karlsruhe (today KIT). Moreover, he has been a lecturer on entrepreneurship and a start-up mentor for more than 10 years at UnternehmerTUM, the Center for Innovation and Business Creation at the Technical University of Munich.
